Hello Under 15s footy families

We are excited to announce that Rob ‘Ferg’ Ferguson and Andrew ‘Truck’ McTrusty will join forces to co-coach our U15 footy team in 2025!

Ferg returns for his second year as co-coach of the U15s, after playing a crucial role in leading them to an incredible premiership win this year. He has taken on various coaching roles for the Hawks since 2017, as well as played in the clubs senior team.

Ferg is excited to back working with the U15s for a second year and looks forward to seeing the boys further develop their footy skills. 

Truck also brings a wealth of coaching experience to the role, having taken on coaching roles in footy, rugby, soccer, basketball and American football over the past 20+ years. This includes working closely with a number of AFL coaches and coordinating Melbourne’s Storms pre-season training camps for new and emerging players. Most recently, he was the assistant coach to this year’s U13s Woodend team – so is a familiar face to those players who are stepping up this year. 

Truck is excited to be back helping out our junior footballers in 2025 and working with the U15 age group at such a crucial phase in their development.
