You may have noticed that Woodend this weekend is not enjoying its usual dose of warm sunshine and might be described as a tad chilly, even wintry. The well-being of participants is paramount and as such, the strict guidelines on clothing is being relaxed this weekend, so full length skins or thermal tops etc will be allowed. There is a caveat to that, in that as we are doing photos, there will be a requirement to be properly attired for that purpose during your team’s photo session. You’re also encouraged to dress appropriately outside of match hours with jackets, gloves etc and bring along a suitable change of dry clothes. We’ll also monitor the conditions closely on the day and in consultation with Riddells Creek and the umpires may make decisions affecting games, such as shortening quarters or in worst case scenarios, curtailing matches.
